Hello, I’m Chantal, founder of The Split Decision — a Perth-based concierge helping people navigate separation with practical, hands-on support.


Why “Concierge”?

 

The term "concierge" reflects the personalised, collaborative support I provide. With a qualification in counselling, I apply solution-focused skills through practical, hands-on facilitation, sitting beside you to organise documents, build systems, and tackle next steps during separation and life transitions.


Unlike traditional counselling that focuses on feelings and past experiences, my support action-focused, helping to reduce overwhelm and restore structure. 


Advice is everywhere, but hands-on support is hard to find!


My Experience

This work grew from both personal and professional experience. I’ve been through separation while parenting, homeschooling, working, and supporting a neurodivergent family, and I know how overwhelming life can feel when everything changes at once.


During times like these, even highly capable people can feel both emotionally and mentally drained. When emotions are high and there’s so much to manage, decisions to make, responsibilities to juggle, and constant demands pulling you in every direction, thinking clearly and knowing what to focus on next, can feel almost impossible. It’s not a lack of ability; it’s a natural response to everything life is asking of you all at once.


That's where I step in with my unique concierge approach. The Split Decision offers practical, compassionate support to help you move forward, take action, and stay on track during this challenging time.​ 

How I Support You

I sit beside you when life feels overwhelming, providing hands-on support during the moments you feel most vulnerable. I can support you to:

  • Break down tasks and priorities into manageable next steps – so you know what to focus on first and don’t feel overwhelmed.
     
  • Organise finances, bills, and important documents clearly – so you understand your financial position and can provide accurate information to professionals or your care team.
     
  • Coordinate appointments and capture essential information – attend or support you in appointments when emotions are high or mental capacity is limited, ensuring nothing is missed and all key details are recorded.
     
  • Set up routines, systems, and reminders to simplify daily life – so day-to-day responsibilities run smoothly, reducing stress and freeing mental space.
     
  • Support you in processing advice, clarifying questions, and exploring options – so you fully understand the information, feel empowered, and can make your own informed decisions.
     

This approach gives you the support you need to manage the practical side of things, so you can focus on what truly matters in your life and have space to breathe.
